  • decorative pet plaques /memorial signs

I have recently completed a commission for a personalised decorative plaque using a photograph of the pet dog to work from. I have thought these may be a nice thing to offer as a memorial plaque for the garden. All my plaques are suitable for outdoors.

I love your plaques and that is such a good idea, however.... I buried my last dog (bless him) in my garden and there is nowhere to screw a plaque to. Instead I bought a concrete prayer book to use as a head stone. Perhaps you could adapt your design to include a free standing plaque or something for those that might prefer one? Just a thought...

      Hi
Thanks for that. I actually have already designed a plaque that will peg or post into the ground quite simply. The price I have decided ,for this sort of plaque which has a relief sculpture of the owners pet is £38(with 7 letters) What do you think of the price???? I know I could produce them cheaper without the unique relief piece. I could still offer different breeds but not as 'portraits'.
i am also looking at the possiblity of putting more lettering on ,in addition to the name.

That's very attractive and I honestly think they would do well.
Your price sounds very good too.

The price is good and so is the idea of being able to buy something like this. My garden is slabbed though, so a bit difficult to post into the ground (hence the concrete prayer book) I can't see a problem that you can't do a personal portrait, a breed pic with a few nice words would be just as good.

ahhh ... I hadn't thought about people who may not be able to post into the ground. I'll get my thinking hat on. Thanks
I had thought about 3 prices, one for portrait piece and lettering ,one for plaque with a generic breed pic and lettering and one for just lettering and a few flowers.

i used to work for a complany who made house plaques the similar to this and we had someone design each mould so we could produce them , and it cost a ell of alot more than that, we used to sell the ones we produced for about the same price so to do a custom one for that price i think is fab xxx
