  • My new hobby

I don't think I've ever posted a pic of any of my stuff, normally I make jewellery but my darling OH bought me a sewing machine for my 40th b/day on Tues ,so this is my first attempt at my new hobby......bag making !
I haven't used a machine since I was about 15 when I used to make tube skirts for friends at school, lol. It took me all afternoon as I'm not the brightest person when it comes to following instructions ,I'd love to know if people like it

      Aaawww ty cynthia.

The trick to finding time is tunnel vision,......... don't look at the hoovering, tidying, washing ironing etc either side of you just concentrate on the material, beads, chain, gemstones in front of you,lol

That's the answer is it!!!! I am ignoring the housework at the moment because of a bout of diverticulitis - forunately feeling much better now - and card making has been all I have had the energy for. The dust is settling nicely around me. Actually looking around in this dining room no one would know there is much dust - you can't see any surfaces - paper, card, photos, embellishments, printing paper, all my card boxes packed for the next time I do a fair, cards ready to go to someone, christmas card catalogue just returned by a neighbour with an order etc etc. So dust, what dust?! Keep up the good work with the bags - let us see what you do. Jewelled bags next?

I think you did a really good job on the bag

I found this website a while ago that has some nice bag tutorials and thought you might find it useful. I fancy having a go at one or two myself but havn't got round to it yet!!
