  • Kiddies hats

Been knitting a few hats to do while I watch TV. They are all but one supposed to be 0-6 months (and I checked my tension) but seem huge so I made the blue to red one a bit smaller. I've also switched from doing them in a strip to doing them circular.

All of them are gorgeous and I especially like the 2 with orange in them. I just love seeing babies and toddlers in really bright colours.

What weight yarn are you using? I knit a hat from aran weight that was supposed to fit a newborn, I cast on 80 stitches using 5mm needles and the resulting hat was so big it could be used as a skull cap on my (very large) two year old!

69 st on 4mm needles with DK for the roll hem hat - it could easily fit a child of at least 18 months I would think.
