  • Little Chickens

I've just finished making these as a commission. I am now wondering whether or not to make a few more in the christmassy fabric and without initials for my craft stall. What do you think?

I think they are great and would look good with christmassy fabric. Go for it!

      They are great!
Just an idea, if you aren't convinced about making up in xmassy fabrics in case you don't sell them all, how about making up in colours like different green or red and adding xmas decoration like tiny bell round neck or sequin star or beads. Then if you are left with any you can just swop trims and you've chickens for Easter!

You could do some with several chickens below each other too for hanging in windows. I really like them!

Like everyone else, I think they're great. I have been trying to work out how big they re. How wide is the ribbon - I can work it out from that.
Wouldn't they make nice Xmas tree decorations.

I think chickens must be the craftiest animal going. They appear on 221 threads in this Forum.

Armadillos only appear on 4 threads and badgers on 8. What is wrong with the world?

If you look at my avatar you will see a needle felted chicken I made - made several in fact for Christmas tree decs although my dad hung his from the rear view mirror of his car! Not tried badgers or armadillos ...

Armadillos just ain't doin' it for me Si! Not funky enough. Now Chickens, there's a Funky animal!

Cathy, you're chickens are fab! Must be a "chickeny" something in the air 'cos I've just started making very similar ones as Christmas pressies for people! I bet it's that Swirly - she's been spraying "Chickeness" about again!

Now if I could just find am armadillo to photograph I could put it on a card! Afraid to say most of the badgers round here are deceased ones on the road - well there are alive ones, but they don't get seen. Sorry better go whilst I am ahead.

                              at you lot!

Chickens are so cool! Armadillos and badgers are not in the same league. You haven't lived until you've cuddled a chicken

My little chickens are just about christmas tree decoration size - I think that ribbon (the narrower one, which looks better I think) is 6 or 7mm.
