  • Summer bracelet

With the lovely weather we've had recently, I wanted to make something really bright & funky, so came up with this chunky charm bracelet, which you can see on my blog This is the style bracelet I made when I started making jewellery, and they're always quite popular. Must really make more of them.

P.S. Does your little girl live in the shed? She looks very cosy sat there!

      Hi!

That is really a summer bracelet - it makes me want to eat strawberries in the sun! Beautiful!

Very colourful - you should have made it earlier and entered it in the competition a few weeks ago (make anything but it has to be orange and green) - forgive me but I forget who started it but I'm sure someone can answer that.

Wish I could generate interest in charm bracelets cos they're fun to make but they just dont seem to do well at all for us.

            ohhh I love that.
So pretty,I love doing charm bracelets, and ( touch wood) they have been my top sellers so far.
I'm very jealous of your workshed thou,....I'd love my own space...at the minute I have the top half of my kitchen to work , so its a jumble of storage ,beads, wires and findings surrounded by ironing and the normal clutter that comes with a family of 7...

Lovely and summery (I write that as it chucks it down and thunders here!)

Love your workshed too - wish I had my own space like that!

beautiful bracelet AND shed ! I was thinking of moving out to the shed when i finally start my beading. But my shed IS a shed. And a bit of a mouldy shed at that! Not a beautiful "extra room" like yours

Having somewhere to go makes such a big difference.

SNOWF1975, could you perhaps sand down the inside of your shed & put plasterboard in and a lick of paint? And you can get quite cheap lino on the floor and hey presto! You have a studio. I used an old computer desk for my work table and left the pull out keyboard drawer thingie so I have 2 levels to work on. Makes it easier and if I don't need both, I just push the keyboard one back in. Then I bought a cheap bookshelf but I'm still trying to find the best way to organise my beads. It's slowly starting to take shape and I'm always cutting out pictures of jewellery out of magazines & put it all around me on the walls. Even just funky pictures that I like. So I have inspiration all around me. I'm making it really girly & it's so me. Lovely to have a space I can call my own.
