I painted Red Riding Hood yesterday and I am really pleased with how she has turned out.. I love Fairy Tales anyway and I'm considering writing up and doing a swap or at least a Challenge with a Fairy Tale theme.. Dark or other wise..

thank you! I keep thinking she has a bit of "Company of Wolves" about here.. a bit more sultry babe than innocent

I'm Near Derby and at the moment its blue sky and white clouds.. could almost be a day in the States... though I'm sure it will rain as soon as I pull the BBQ out.

She's right for the times, children seem a bit more knowing nowadays but she's a sweetie. Hope rain stays off for your BBQ

thank you everyone! am in a buzzy happy mood... though that may have something to do with the vanilla cheesecake (with black cherry compote to be made in a minute its break time) that needed tasting as I was making it..

thank you everyone.. I'm totally blown away at all the lovely comments its really cheered me up on this dismal gray morning...

BBQ was an un-bbq, we had no lighter fluid so had to cook everything inside then we all ate out in the garden... the black cherry cheesecake went down a treat though.. so will be blogging the recipe once I have written it of course.
