  • Another miniature

Hot on the heels of the small Mona Lisa, here is a picture of my latest one. Constables Hay Wain.

    http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y17...nwithstamp.jpg

The story of the smallest Mona Lisa has made various news websites around the world, and I have to say its a bit of a thrill to see ones work talked about in this way. I will post any new developments with regards the Mona story.

great, brings back memories, that one hung proudly over the fireplace when i was a kid.

not sure if you do, but you should contact the local press, i am sure they would be interested. great publicity.

Excellent work, this one is even better than the Mona Lisa.

It reminds me of that guy who carved things on pinheads, but the detail and warmth of your work is much more interesting.

              Best wishes,

              Si.

Thanks everyone for the comments. Working on my own for the most part sometimes it is easy to start thinking 'why on earth do I do it?'

Being able to 'show off' like this and receive praise from other crafters who do appreciate the effort that goes into something, is definitely a boost to me and I suspect to others on this forum. Plus seeing what others are up to always helps to inspire.
