  • Stock building: getting there

Managed to pretty much deplete my stock of goblets. Getting it all made and back into the shop slowly. This is some of the range of styles I do.

All are coated for use so let's hope someone out there likes them LOL. Fingers crossed.

I like the goblets. Are the rings around the stem supposed to have any kind of significance (you know like the different designs in a Welsh love spoon) or are they purely decoration?

I cannot imagine that anyone wouldn't like them.

Sounds like a good gift idea for Valentine's day.

The rings are a Celtic tradition. They are made with the goblet not added later and signify eternity and unity. I have been pushing them for Valentines day Wendy so fingers, toes, and anything else you can think of crossed.

Thank you. I've got a load of green oak medieval style goblets drying out at the moment as well. Those are an order though so money is definite. Hopefully things will look up for us all this year and we will find ourselves rushed off our feet.
