    Hi guys I am just about to finish a stick dulcimer and was wondering if anyone had a traditional design for me to burn on the front of it the acual area is 4 1/2 " at the bottom shaping into a 1 1/4" at the top with a bodxy lenth of 14 1/2" it is a folk type intrement so naturally I would like a folk type design.I have ewnclosed A picture of this instrrament but not the one I am bvuilding just to show you what I'm after Mal

    Have a look here for something. Some of them are probably far too complex and time consuming but there are some simple ones that I would think would look ideal on a traditional instrument like yours

      What a lovely little instrument. I agree with Pete I think a simplified celtic design would look fabulous.

        Mornig folks I would just like to thank you for you input, heres the finished product.This was a trial model just made from of cuts in my workshop,no expensive tone woods untill the next one. Mal
