Why not try it for yourself? You can search local junk shops for a dressing table.
There are several finishes you can apply to it to make it look great.
two coat pain, crackle glaze, lime finish, antique gold paste highlights, the oportunities are endless. I can advise on any of the finishes and tell you how to!
