    New Pyrography Machine !

I'm so excited, my new Peter Child machine arrived today!
I've been lurking around the threads for a while now, trying to decide whether I could part with nearly £100, but I finally took the plunge, and i love it. Not very experienced at this, but what I lack in experience I more than make up for in enthusiasm, so I'm really looking forward to getting to grips with my new machine.

I've just got to say thanks to all the experienced Pyrographers on here who give such useful advice to us beginners. I haven't started any threads on the subject myself, but as I say, I've been looking at everyone else's, and it's good to be able to read your advice and views about the different machines, and pyrography in general.

I just got the peter child's machine now about 2 weeks ago.
    It's fab isn't it.
I'm sure we're all looking forward to seeing your goes. I posted one of mine yesterday. Took me a while to just stop doodling on scrap wood and be brave enough to actually make something!!

Yes, I'm just practicing on any bits of wood to hand at the moment too! Not sure how long it'll take me to produce anything good enought to show on here..but if I ever do, I'll have to pluck up the courage and post a pic.
I loved your tooth fairy plaque...it's really cute!

I'm sitting here at the crack of dawn (cant sleep) slowly turning a sickening shade of green, because I WANT ONE!!

Aaah I'm joining your club onlyme. There are only so many crafts I can afford to have a play with. Although my birthday is coming up in the summer
