  • Baby sleeping bags

    Hello fellow crafters,

I am not sure this is the right place to post but iam new to the forum and still find me feet. I am after a bit of advice as i would like to make baby sleeping bags. However the idea is that they are not fastened over the shoulder but through an elasticated waistband on the waist. So it is more like a sleep pod than a bag. I am unsure on regulations about such things and would be happy if someone could point me in the right direction. My local trading standard office was not helpful.

Anyone else has experience with this?

    Any advice welcome. Many thanks

I might be wrong, but I have a feeling that anything you make for baby needs to follow a range of codes, breathability etc., the best thing to do is check in one of the major childrens wear departments and see if they have a Kite mark on them, then look up that kite mark. Hope that helps.
