  • Personalised Jute bag help please? :)

    Hi

New here and looking for a bit of guidance

Not totally sure if I have posted this in the right category but I am wanting to try my hand at the personalised jute bags that everyone is loving at the moment

I sat and drew some characters last night to make sure i was at least going to be able to attempt one!! haha.

I am looking at materials i need, obviously plain jute bags, but what paint is best? Have looked it up and found acyrlic and fabric paints mentioned, does anyone make these who can recommend?

Also I really like the bags that use glitter best, can anyone tell e if this is done with some sort of glitter paint or just glue and glitter? If just glitter how would I stop it going all over the bag and how to seal it at the end?

I need obiously to end up with a bag that is waterproof and not going to dissolve in the rain lol.

Thanks for the help in advance

I'd be interested to know if any one has any experience with types of paints too, I sell fabric bags that I want to be able to decorate :-)
