String Vests

I am looking for the fabric used to make string vests. I haven't a clue as to what to search for. What keywords would I use or what is it called?

OK I have to ask........what do you want this for as the Egyptians, to the best of my knowledge, didn't use string vests......had better taste LOL.

I have been making some beach wreaths and want some narrow fabric in this white cotton net to decorate them with.

You, (or someone else ?) could crochet a similar net in fine cotton thread to get the same effect.

I have no idea what it's called or where you'd buy it from, but if it's to resemble a fishing net, could you not use white string and knot your own? I think that would look much nicer
