      Those are fabulous.

I don't have a lot of drawer space in my kitchen, I think I could actually do with something with that idea.

      Thanks for the idea!

These are brilliant! I don't think I need the storage but I still want to make some! Did you use printouts for the coverings and then screw them to the wall?

Hi Kayleigh - one of my daughters got her degree in Art History, too! She now volunteers at a major art museum. Works in something totally unrelated...

I saw your intro and went to your blog - good start!

There are quite a few nifty recycling ideas in here so have a good look around!

My first reply didnt appear to post hmm. Sounds about right with the volunteering but I aim to eventually own my own commercial gallery for arts and crafts!

Thanks, Im really excited to get started with my homemade home, Im going to be hoarding as I dont have a house just a flat. I found the recycling threads so just need to read some more in depth and get going

              Hiya,

We cleaned the tins, attached a picture and then clear varnished them as they are next to the sink and cooker and wanted them to last, then hubby screwed them to the wall

Those look fab! We have an ex food tin that sits in the food cupboard but is actually a secret cash storage - don't worry to break in cos it's usually empty! But perhaps you could decorate some tins like the lovely ones you have already done and sell them as valuables storage?

Fantastic Idea! Could do with some of these in the Arts room for storage!

I too will simply steal that idea.

I use tins for potting up in the greenhouse but hadn't thought of covering and varnishing them!

                      Brilliant idea, thanks.
