All my old ones were really tatty so made a new one. These new carriers are not as good as the old kind though, They are flimsy and a bit transparent, but hey ho this should last a while eh? xxx
Cripes - that takes me back to the early 1970's; in an OT department where I worked a small group used to cut up sliced loaf bags and knit them into beach/swimming bags!!
Thats fab, hav been looking at some similar ones on the web (tho their colours were not as nice as yours) and am starting to feel some fun xmas pressies coming on! Whats it like to knit with, is it very scratchy?
I have never tried knitting them, but I have seen it done. so quite possible. This one was made from Asda bags. I try to keep them the same kind to keep the colour uniform. have a go its so easy. And you can make virtually anything. I am going to start making new snowflake place mats with the next supermarket delivery. xxx
Have you tried it with video tape? We sorted out loads to go to the charity shop and those that were home recorded had the tape removed. I don't knit or crochet but have given some to a friend who does.
