Recycled Christmas dec's..made a start!

Spend a day cutting stars n snowflakes out of all the old cardboard and cat food boxes l could find....the waste was a small bag of bits instead of a hugepile....used every bit l could...now have boxes of basic cut outs ready for decs cards n boxes

Made the 1st snowflake dec and decided blue white pearl n silver for this next christmas...

Those snowflakes are beautiful 8thGem - can i be cheeky and ask how you made them - i would love some for my tree this year - will make a nice change to the normal decs i get out year after year after year!!! and i have loads of spare beads at the mo... x

Thanx all...l'm having soooooo much fun making these becoming a bit obsessive about recycling though!!..lol
Used mousse cartons, old cat food boxes n the foil packets everything come in today!

Made a whole lot more and added them to my flickr pics..recycled trash is all the decs l've made to day if you want to look

Glitter queen...do you mean the beaded ones?..pack of snowflake wire shapes 8 for £2 then thread on a selection of beads leave enough to turn the end over though bit like memory wire very hard to bend....have fun

WOW! These are fab! There's something very satisfying about making something out of nothing, don't you think? And it's far better than chucking it in the bin.

...oh l do agree anything plastic l can make a flower die cut (JEWELLERY)out of is used and card board l always keep (paper dolls art journals and decorations)
