    Hi,
I am new to the forum and hope somebody can help me.
I live in Wellingon, New Zealand. My trusty old second-hand wheel has finally given up and I am in the market for a new wheel. I can buy a new Bailey PRO XL Pottery wheel from a local web auction site. I do not know this particular brand and wondered if somebody out there is using a Bailey wheel or if somebody can give me a review. I have rad the specs on the web, I am interested in personal expeirence.

I throw some domestic ware but mainly focus on one-off vessels (thrown tall cylinder with added coil building).

My first choice was for a simpo wheel, unfortunately it will cost about 3 times than the Bailey.

    Thank you

Hi Linette~I can help you we used to live a few hours from Bailey Ceramics in New York State. The schools that I taught at used Bailey Wheels. Awesome wheels to throw on and clean up is a breeze!! Very smooth and quiet. Beautiful wheel to throw on, If I was to ever go back to pottery I would buy a Bailey. JMO Hope that helps answer your questions..
