I HAVE A BUILDING IN Liverpool which has been granted planning to turn into arts studios. I have the idea of turning the space into ceramics studios which will be kitted out with kilns and wheels. My plan is to create a few permanent spaces, which can be rented long term. I also want to provide some space for short term rental i.e. one day, weekend, or hired on a flexible basis for individuals or small groups. I would welcome any feedback, comments or suggestions - positive or negative - as to whether people think there is a need for such a space in Liverpool. Hi Jan, what a wonderful idea.
Obviously a good source of people who would be looking for studio space might come from MMU, Lancaster Uni or NEWI and possibly via Wirral potters, NPA and NWP.
