  • Cake topper finally finished- phew!

Ive been very busy with this latest topper, this was a commission for a 60th birthday.
I loved making this, the first time I've made dogs and I'm quite chuffed with them, although it did take me a long time.
I'm pleased with the paint work in the end, there was lots to paint in this model and it seems to be staying in place at the moment, fingers crossed.
Just need to post now and pray that it arrives in one piece! 

You really put a lot of detail in the piece. I don't work in polymer and didn't realize you could paint it.

That's a huge amount of detailed work and I am sure it required a lot of patience as well as skill. For a first attempt at dogs I think you've done very well and am sure the person for whom it is intended will think it fabulous.

Wonderful! The dogs look so happy too. I am sure the owner will be thrilled with this when it arrives.

That's some of the best work I've seen (though I'm not an expert) in polymer clay. Well done!
