  • Hello All - Fimo fan :-)

    Hello Everyone!

I've just joined this site today so that I can get some inspiration and advice on a new hobby of mine....fimo clay.

After experimenting lots with my children, I would love to start taking it more seriously myself.

Does anyone know of any courses available in the leeds/yorkshire area whereby I can learn more?

    Thank you

Hi and welcome from a fellow fimo

I am self taught and got so much information from the internet - its amazing what you can find out there.... also don't forget where you can see some artists make their masterpieces!

Good luck and look forward to seeing your work.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

You might be interested in having a look at my website in my signature or Facebook group for any courses you are looking for. The website is not fully open at the moment and is still being tested, but check back in around 2 weeks and we'll be live!

        Thanks, Elliot

I echo what Pauline was saying - check out online. There are so many sites with free clay info out there. PCC, as recommended, is great.

I even have some free Fimo tutorials on my own website too - so do check those out when you have a moment.

I don't know of any courses - sorry. But there is lots you can teach yourself by following online projects, checkout out Youtube etc. The best way to learn is to just keep playing with the clay!
