  • fimo wedding dress help please

    Hi All,

I am a newbie to fimo, and for my first task, have been asked to make a cake topper for a wedding cake. The bride wants as near as can be, replica of her dress.

ive done it in stages so far and done the ivory under/lower skirt and then the toffee coloured bodice, but need some help with the ruched/draped toffee coloured skirt if possible. I cant post a link as i dont have enough posts under my belt yet

How is the best way to go about doing this (i usually work in sugarpaste/pastillage/mexican/flowerpastes, which are much easier!)

Hoping someone can help me with this fiddly bit please

    Thanks in advance!

Could you try rolling it out really thin then using a cocktail stick to pucker it up? Just a gues- I haven't done Fimo for years!!
