  • 360 Degree Product Photography

    Hi all,

I've been having a bit of a look in to 360 degree product photography and was wondering if anyone here has any experience with it. Do you need the dedicated software packages to do this for you or are there other alternatives?

    Thanks,

    Sam

Yes. My friend took a photo on top of a castle I used to stand on as a child. It was AMAZING. Felt like I was actually standing there. If I can I will find that photo and put it here. Not sure if I can or how it will work.

I remember having a go at this for a college/uni project and this is how I had a go then (15 yrs ago) :O

I set the camera up on a tripod and used rotating cake thingy I put little marks on the edges (that were out of view in camera) so I could rotate it in increments, took my 10-12 pics and stitched them together in software.

My downfall, I am a rubbish photographer and hadn't considered light and it was evening so it looked rubbish lol. Didn't try it again. It did work though.
