I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question. I wanted to put a photo of a craft project i done on here but when i try, it says my picture exceeds the allowed megabytes. What do i need to do to change this?

I resize mine in Paint which is a Windows application and comes with the package so if you have windows you will have paint. It is so easy to use. Go in and have a look and if you can't work it out just ask.Carol

You can use photoshop for reducing pics, so no need for another application.
On the menu bar click
File - Save for Web
And a new window opens where you can change the size and many other things and it saves it as a new image.
This is with version 6, dont know if its the same with later versions

I never resize mine simply upload to my photobucket account then put the link code for a clickable photo and has presto it's on the forum and if someone wants to see it bigger they click on my photo and it goes to the photo full size in my photobucket account. So many projects, so little time

I use picmonkey - free online to edit pics. Some of the functions you have to pay for buy lots is free. I like to resize, add borders and retro style filters. I particularly use this for my blog. It's also good for editing and cropping pics for when you need a specific size, such as a website banner or pic for Facebook!Shelley x
