I think I kno wwhat you are talking abougt but I'm not sure exactly which pictures the doo dads are. I like Tim Holtz style but fing many of the items too expensive. You can often make you own from items purchase elsewhere. Are the doodads the bits like ATSc? I buy paper and stamp my own. I have also purchased some Tim Holts 12 x 12 paper pads and decorated them but stamping on top of them or adding collaged bits I have purchased or Ive made stamped tickets. Am I on the right track?

I don't know what the teeny hole punch is but you can buy various hole punches about 2mm in diameter. Is that what you are after?

The doo dads are single strips of tiny pictures, typewriter keys etc all on the same small strip, some you can cut with scissors but some are that small you need a single punch which is 1/2 inch 1/4 inch of 5/16 inch that you can reverse and see what you are punching, but yes you are on the right track, I can make my own tickets and stamps etc but its the little bits I cant seem to find anywhere, thanks fpor your help

I cut my tickets by hand around the edge of the shape of the stamp. If the image isn't a stamped ticket shapede I cut a rectangle and use half an ordinary hole puch to clip a hole in the edge of the ticket. Sometimes I use a tool to rough up the edges (can't think what Tim calls it). I got mine cheaper as its the same tool used to cut sewing thread.

You can get dies in the shape of small tickets.

What are the little bits you can't find? Sorry if you have explained and I'm being dumb.

Its quite difficult to explain really, they are strips with multiple tiny pieces on them in the right hue of colours for Tim Holtz inspired stuff if you know what I mean, I cant even find single 12 x 12 papers that are in certain themes, we dont seem to stock tons here in the UK.

Its a paper distressor I've got one of those, The Tonic scissors Tim recommends are fabulous, well worth the £9 odd.

At the moment I am convertiing some card bunting i bought for 20p and covering in print and pictures from an old Shakespeare book I bought for 50p, cant wait to get on the embellishing !! you tube have some fabulous videos on people mini albums and tags done in the same sort of style

Ive seen two 12 x 12 Tim Holtz scrap pads in various craft shops. Can't you cut these to make you own dodads? I haven't seen any Tim Holtz stuff that you cant either get elsewhere or make yourself. Haven't you been able to find any of Tims 12 x 12 pads?

I have seen a couple of the books of papers but there are lots more and you can buy single 12 x 12 papers in a certain them like Cirque circus one etc, I have been making some of my own so will have to stick with that for now I think

just started my first attempt at a paperbag album, uploaded it onto the show off your crafts post, if you want to take a peek, a lot of work, trimming, binding and embellishing etc to be done , but you'll get the idea
