  • large painting done 'Live'

You may (or may not) remember me telling you that I had been invoted to paint a huge painting with a couple of the young people in our church during a service in December. I worked out a plan knowing only that the title for the service was "the unexpected gift"
It was really great fun and although I'd not really spoken to the girls and didn't know what abilities they had, we met up just before the service and laid out our goodies on the cloths. The board had been framed and the only issue was that I'd planned the picture portrait and we were unable to ballance the board that way. In the end we leant it against the alter rail and went landscape. Everything had to change proportions.
with 45 minutes we each worked a third of the board and came up with the following picture which has graced the church enterence over the christmas period.

That is so lovely and amazing that three of you worked on it without having done anything before. I hope it is going to be kept for future Christmases

A nice idea and a great painting, congratulations on putting the project together. Which art of the painting is your 'third'?

What a unusual project but the results are impressive for the 3 coming together like that !

Beautiful!!! It all fits together perfectly. I hope the church congregation appreciate it and that the church will use it every Christmas.

Did you all get to sign and date it for future generations???

That's lovely...that's a great idea to each sign and date it. Will they display it each year then? That'd be great

Wow! That looks fantastic! It really works!

Did you have to paint it with all the congregation watching you?! That would be nerve-wracking!

I didn't mind the watching! The nerve wracking bit was knowing that we had 45 mins to complete it and not one of us had a watch on!
