  • Anyone use gold leaf?

    Hello

I was just wondering if anyone here used gold leaf or imitation gold leaf in their paintings? I work with acrylics and use gold leaf, but I am far from an expert, I have seen some really effective use of gold leaf in painting and wonder if anyone else uses it?

I've used it in paintings...but nothing else. I'd like to use it more...it really spices a piece up.

I've used gold leaf in polymer clay beads and cabs, brilliant effects and easy to work with

          In card making and scrapbooking

I have used it quite a lot in card making and scrapbooking, I have a mixed variety so it has copper, gold and red colours, it is stunning. I have also used it in makins air drying clay for a few jewellery bits but more on the paper crafting side of things really. It is a great product though.

I have used it and really love it. I have transformed picture frames and my Mantel mirror with it. It polishes up really well and gives a great effect.
