  • Selling cross stitch?

Is it possible (normal behaviour) to sell completed cross stitch designs?
If so - how much are they worth (considering how many hours are involved)

    thanks in adv...
    James.

There's a seller on Etsy who sells completed cross stitches but her's are not the twee ones you tend to find over here - I think they would be described as subversive. For example she has one that says 'craptacular' and one with a cute little cow that says 'Cows taste good' - I'm thinking of buying it for my veggie sister!!
She sells them as magnets and also the finished product but with frames on. I think it would work but only if you stay away from the twee.

I found some, not sure if it's the right person but there's quite a few that refer to parts of the body not normally associated with cross stitch!

most are only in the $10 range, surely the thread costs more than that?

Here's the link to the person I was thinking of - just don't look if you might easily be offended. I did say it was subversive!

            Yep, that's the one.
I would have posted it myself but I'm trying to be on best behaviour

It's hardly flowers and puppies - not sure if they sell those patterns at the Crawley craft store!

Definately doesn't make financial sense either, must be a good few hours work for only afew $'s.

Oddly (talking about bizarre products) I once saw some cake toppers of women breast feeding which was a bit weird too I think it was here... in the Gallery 3rd one down on the right...
