  • patterns for flower decorations etc

    Hello there,

I'm furiously making loads of hats, scarves etc in mohair, silks and angora for a stall I'm having at a craft fair we're organising.

What I can't seem to find is any patterns, crochet or knitting for adornments for those garments, or any other ideas of how to add a something extra to the items? They can't be too big, as a lot of the items are kiddy sized.

I was also trying to figure out a way to knit/crochets little one dimensional animals that I could attatch to the items, such as beetles, caterpillars...any thoughts?

years ago when i knitted a lot there was a stack of books by jean greenhow(e)? - she does the patterns for the big clown dolls, but loads of other things- i am sure there were sweet little flowers for brooches etc and i have done her dinosaurs and cavemen- but the pattern were very varied!
they are good, they dont look like they will work but once stuffed are brilliant

i got mine from he same shop as sold the wool
