Could somebody remind me of the difference between the Aida count material, I used to use 14 with two strands but a lot of kits seem to be in 16 or 18.

I'm using 2 strands at the moment on 18 count, Hobbycraft have 14 ct right down to 6 count, but the main thing you need to watch is your needle size - a 24 will do most things, but use a 26 for anything above 24 count.

The number corisponds to the count of holes per inch 14 is larger holes but less holes than 18 smaller holes (does this makes sence) so a finer finish on the end result. The count can go into the 20's this gets realy fidly to sew."You've Got to Keep Your Mind Wide Open" - AnnaSophia Robb
