  • Hand dyed wool

This is a bit of a stab in the dark, and is a very vague request, so apologies in advance!
I use to have a link to a website which sold hand dyed wool. I cannot for the life of me remember what it was called, but it was an independant shop, a lady who sold from her own home.
I don't buy a lot of hand dyed wool. I really don't think i could do it justice atm. But i would like to find this little shop (pr even something like it!) to pass on to a friend. And also bcause i like browsing for stuff 'for future projects' you know what i mean being crafters lol.
Can anyone help, or direct me to some of your own favourite sites please?

TBH, if I am treating myself, I have a look on Folksy - check it out as Hand Painted Wools... there are some fabulous wools on there but I warn you it is both addictive and expensive.

My two friends who do it (and sell it) are the Mulberry Dyer and Phoebe.

This is pure wool dyed with vegetable/natural dyes. Both do both small and big amounts.
