Bargello

I'm familiar with Bargello patchwork design, but not sure how you would translate that into the silk threads!

Does anyone know anything about Bargello? I have looked at 'Beautiful Bargello' - too exclusive, and 'Mellow needle crafts' - too cheap, they are the only suppliers of kits I can find on google. My friend is looking for a kit, maybe handbag, which uses silk thread, and is the real 'bargello' thing. Any help?
