  • New Men in my LIfe??

Hi ...I had a lady come to me the other day wanting to know how she could teach pre school children and special needs children emotions but wanted something soft to handle taht could be easily washed etc.

My son was eating a bag of jelly babies and an idea sprang to mind.....so Sticklers were born.

    This one is Unhappy Stickler

    then we have happy Stickler

    then Cheeky Stickler

    here is Sleepy Stickler

and then there is Crying Stickler

    here comes Sleepy Stickler

    and finally Angry stickler .....

And the start of one pair ..Angels and Demons come to mind so here is Angelic Stickler and the Devil Stickler will follow.

    Any feedback welcomed...

    have a good crafting day..

oops sorry about 6 - 8 inches high and hand made in double knitting wool. Tried so hard to arrange the colours to go with the moods ...a little like chakra colours...

I am quite pleased but my favourite one is the Cheeky Stickler.... each to their own...hehe.

These are absolutely fantastic! I wish I could knit!! (and had about another 20 hours in the day to fit it into!!)

The kids should really love these - I have made some window stickers for a school which has a number of special needs children and the delight comes from feedback saying what a difference your work has made in their lives.

Well done - I can't wait to see more.

I think they are gorgeous. I'm sure they will love them.
When my son was at school he had some cards, red, amber and green which he could put on his desk to show he was struggling without having to put his hand up and ask. (He has ADHD)

What a briliant idea. It is easier for them to learn by example (seeing) than listening. They are very appealing and such lovely colours too.

Many thanks for the positive feedback... I have become addicted to knitting them and they are starting to take on a life of their own. lol

My friend has persuaded to join her at a craft fair at the end of November where these little Stickle men will be sold along with hand knitted toy sets.

My only trouble is now that I have been brainwashed by the little men .... besides the Demon devil which is being finished tomorrow ....there are a snowman and snow girl version, a Christmas version, a Stickler with crutches and a little girl version coming soon.

heaven help me ....lol Am I going mad???????

                      back to the needles...

                      Love Mandy
