  • Bargain or wholesale knitting patterns

    Hi Everyone

Just joined the Forum tonight and hoped someone might be able to help me.

I've started a small craft group in our village and most of them are knitters. They've asked me if I can find/source some good knitting patterns for them at bargain prices, . They know I go on the internet - they're mostly retired and raise their eyes to heaven if you mention computers! - so if anyone can help with any good websites where I can find a reasonable range at good prices, that would be really helpful. They do swap patterns between them but I think would like some new projects to work on. I've printed some free ones off that I found but if I can find someone who I can go to on a regular basis, I think they'd love it!

    Any ideas?
    Jane

      Hi there,

I have a library of knitting patterns (if you are looking for something in particular, I am sure I could oblige). Try knittingpatterncentral.com they are a free pattern website and have so many patterns it will take you a lifetime to go through.

      Hope this helps

Register on **********. There are loads of free patterns on there.
You could also try a wanted ad on Freecycle.

I have lots of Vogue and Knit 1's magazines i can send photocopies! Some of the knitting manufacturers have free patterns on their internet sites. I sometimes go on Lion Brand which is a big yarn manufacturer in USA (where else!)
