  • Advice please for stiffening a knitted bowl

I've read so many ways of stiffening a knitted bowl I really can't decide what's the best. One way I found mentioned, but no instructions for, was using wallpaper paste. I've also found varying recipes for sugar/water solution.

It might have been easier if I'd felted it, but I didn't think about that until the end, doh!

If anyone has any experiences of stiffening, I'd be grateful for any insights

This site gives basic instructions, im sure you could adapt if necessary

Would need to be 100% wool or therabouts not acrylic

    Just an idea

I'm a bit worried about how long it would last!

serves me right for not thinking the project through before I started, but I get a design in my head and have to start knitting straight away!
