If it's just for taking stuff out of pickle, cheap plastic tweezers do the job just fine. Or just bend a strip of copper into shape. Personally, I use bamboo by choice.
Oh really? Bamboo? Sounds nice, where did you get them from? I use bamboo things (spoons, forks etc) in the kitchen, but no tongs unfortunately.
I had wondered about just bending some copper into a tongs shape. But bamboo sounds nice.
