Wire wrapping Q

What gauge wire would be suitable for wrapping round flat oblong pendants? I have never done anything like this before but would like to try it. Thanks.

The good thing about wire wrapping is that you get to choose what wire you use. If you are a beginner, then it is a bit easier to use a thinner wire (about 0.6mm). If you want a thicker look to the wire, you could use 0.8mm or 1mm.
