They are fantastic! I love chainmaill. I've only just learnt how do chainmaille, didn't realise there were so many weaves.

        Thanks both

Crystal - you'll find (if you haven't already!) that maille becomes highly addictive!! I am always looking for new ways to work it into things!

There's a dedicated maille community website I've found recently, and some of the things other members have done is completely awe-inspiring!!

                    They're stunning!

I've had a go at some chainmaille, I've got a couple of simpler ones in my shop here www.rockprincess.folksy.com

I loved making them, its so addictive! I'm hoping to eventually be able to make them at the level yours are (if I can manage it! lol)

I love the colours you've used, they really stand out x

                      Thanks

Love the way you've photographed the stuff for your Folksy shop - it's one of the things I find hardest and wish I was better at, despite the fact that I'm a keen photographer!

                          Thanks Muffin! Will do.

Just about to add a couple of new pieces of maille to my Facebook page - pop over if you want and have a look, see what you think.
I have a couple of design ideas that I am going to work on today too.
                          It is very addictive!!

                            It's got you!! Haha

I'm getting withdrawal symptoms I'm census collecting at the mo, which is taking up more of my time than anything else, and means I can't concentrate on anything craft related as my brain's all fuddled. I have a new kit from Blue Buddha which I really want to have a go at, but I've made a hash of starting it three times already!!

                            Roll on early May!!

I have been a little more creative this morning - but school holidays are getting in the way :0)
Made a little Dream Catcher pendant, just to try it out, using a very basic maille type weave - but I am pleased with the result.
It needs tweaking, but I think it will look great once I get it perfected.
                              See what you think!
(Oh and I have updated my siggy to reflect the RIGHT FB page!! )
