  • What clip/slide do I use for a hairpiece please?

I want to make a headpiece for a friend who's getting married. I'd made a flower fascinator from silver wire, crystals and pearls on a headband before but she's got fine hair and has asked for it on a slide rather than a comb (although I think she'll have whatever I suggest). What would you recommend? I think barettes look a bit clunky but maybe they're the best option. I guess otherwise it's a crocodile type clip? Help! (Oh and the wedding's in 3 weeks if that concentrates the mind!)

    Hi
I've got two types of hair clips with holes if that's any good. Here's one of them.

      Hi there,

thanks for that, I want to put a fairly large (maybe 3-4 inches across?) flower on it. It's not going to be that heavy but I need it to be really secure so she doesn't have to worry about it...?
