  • Silver fingerprint cufflinks?

Hi, not posted for ages, but in need of some advice!

A good friend of mine is looking to get silve cufflinks made for her husbands xmas with the fingerprints of their two sons on them. I've seen these online and she has asked if I can recommend a site or anyone who makes these?

I don't know of anyone, so thought I would post on here to see if anyone did this?

    TIA x

    Hi there,
you can buy silver clay / PMC. This will be soft enough to create fingerprints, and then you can polish and buff to get the siler shine. It is a higher silver content than sterling silver.

Cufflink bases (sterling) range from about £5 a pair.

      Hi Renataharris,

Thanks for your post, I've never made any silver jewellery (I don't have the tools) so I wasn't planning on making them, I was just hoping to recommend a good supplier x

I'd recommend our own Murano Silver.

There are lots of people doing this now, but not all have Nic's experience or expertise.

Thanks very much for that mizgeorge, it's exactly what they are looking for.

Nic, if your around and see this, they stay in Edinburgh up in Scotland, is there anyway to do the print without being in your studio?
