  • Pandora and Troll Beads

    Hello, I'm after some advice on Pandora and Trollbeads. I have never used them before in my Jewellery but thought I would use a few and see what happens. As I do not know very much about these beads I wondered i you could help with a couple of queries;

    How do you tell a genuine Pandora bead from a "Pandora Style" bead.

    What is the difference between Pandora and Trollbeads.

    Does anyone else use these in their jewellery making and do you find it easier to sell genuine Pandora (although can be expensive) or to use the cheaper pandora style beads.

    Thanks, would really appreciate any info.

    You will find many bead suppliers selling pandora style beads. The main difference is the core of the bead which may be made from an alloy metal , this can cause skin irritation. I would always ask your bead supplier what the core of the bead is made from. And if they can't give you a good answer, I would leave well alone if you are concerned.
