Recently ive been inspired by vintage jewellery, fake stones but shiny and sparkley. I think it was the Napier brand that called their collections 'fashion jewellery', as costume jewellery tends to be seen as cheap version of something else. Buying second hand, often stones have fallen off, and gold chips or goes tinny - I can never find anything suitable in charity shops.

    Was recommended this website http://www.mobile-boutique.com/
from the USA, which is a joy to look at i think!

Wondering if anyone knows where to get interesting connector beads or enamel bits suitable for making into elaborate brooches for handbags... preferably in UK! glam, ladylike and different.

Love the slider beads on that site so it would be great to find a UK supplier of similar if anyone knows of one. The only place I've ever used with similar slider beads was an ebay shop in France. That was a few years ago and I can't remember the name now - typical!

There are Import charges if you spend more than £18 ($29) the postage was 6.00 and i only had four things in the trolley so might just have to browse antiquey stores for bits and bobs to recycle!

I havent bought any jewellerymaking stuff since february cos i cant find anything!
