  • Clip on earring findings

Hello, I'm looking for some clip on earring findings in silver, preferably plated as I think sterling would be too expensive. I did buy some from a local shop but they seemed quite chunky and don't look right with what I've made. I'm hoping one of you lovely people can help! Thank you.

      Hi

We have a selection of options for non pierced ears, in silver plated, gilt plated, sterling silver and 9ct gold. Scroll halfway down the following page....
      http://www.kernowcraft.com/products/findings/earwires/

Plated metal would be the cheapest option, we have either clip on or screw on in either silver plated or gilt plated.

Or we have sterling silver clip on or screw on earwires, thought these will be more expensive. When we sourced these products we were dissapointed with the quality of a lot of the earwires available, but we have managed to get some really nice quality ones, and although they aren't cheap in comparison to the earwires for pierced ears, they are good quality and better if you are likely to be sensitive to plated metal findings.

Hope this is of some use...

      Best wishes

      Hannah

        Hi,
I recently bought some really nice-quality SP earclips from ebay - they are unusual and look like pierced wires when they are on. I used them for a wedding commission, so they were worn all day by the bridesmaids and the feedback on them was very good.

I can't post the link here as I'm a newbie, but the seller is Lyndie's craft shop, member id lyndiec2005

If you are still looking I recommend The Silver Corporation, I've bought others and have found them to be too big, but the Silver Co's ones were just right. They do both silver plated and gold plated and the price was good.

I get a lot of stuff from Beads Direct but they only have what is also posted here. Do you need the clips with the pad for gluing the artwork to? If so John Lewis have those if there is a store near you

              Thanks for that link Magenta
Not sure how I'd never come across that one before
