    Hi

I have organised fairs, as well as participating, and to be honest I have generally found that as long as your displaying of jewellery is attractive to prospective buyers that's all that matters. (Not forgetting a pleasant attitude and looking like you are enjoying being there!).

You don't need to spend a fortune on display items - just be creative.

    Hope this helps.

      Hi Amsha,
Your flowers and voile sound nice. I think two important things are height on your stall, and good lighting. Lighting can be bought quite cheaply, from polaces like Ikea.

Height can be created by covering or draping fabric over boxes, and it can give you space at the back to hide your money, bags etc.

If you can afford some necklace stands they would add interest and varying height levels.

Colourwise, I'd choose a background colour and choose flowers etc that tone in, so that your background is not too busy.

      Hope that helps, Celia

            Jewellery displays

The best value place I've found for displays is

            http://www.jewellery-displays.com/categories.asp

They have great 2 for 1 offers on slightly marked busts, which on the ones I bought you could hardly see the faults.

display can get expensive when you first start out , it's worth checking this site out for some fab ideas

              http://www.home-jewelry-business-suc...g-jewelry.html

has a tutorial for a fab necklace bust

try to keep to a colour theme with all your displays including the cloth and make sure your cloth reaches the floor at the front of your table ( lots of organisers insist on this and its handy for hiding all your boxes etc )
Do a trial table before you do your fair if you can so you have an idea of your set up
              and don't panic !...good luck

                  Hi Amsha,

I get mine free from a 'local' jewellery shop who have loads of surpless ring boxes, busts etc. You could try getting friendly with your local hewellery shop ??

Oh, If you do manage to make a stand, make sure it is sturdy enough not to get pushed over !

                  Good luck !
