I would say file the end flat and get some wet/dry paper and sand it rounded so its not sharp. Not sure what you mean about the bobble. As in they melted the end into a bulbous shape?

You could file it, or use something similar to a memory wire end cap/bead or even just a bead that matched the rest of the design. Secure it with a tiny dab of glue.

You would need some files. Or even a normal file from a tool box. You could flatten the wire with a hammer and then twist it. Or as said get some half drilled beads and glue them on.

the only thing ive seen similar is a lady who made her own headbands out of thinner wire and she glued small beads on the end of the wire, looked fine

I saw a vid a while ago on youtube - although I couldn't find the same one again here is one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZxIGHCAXf6s it does however involve added equipment etc but would make a lovely neat ending
You can buy memory wire caps http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/100-SILVER-PLA...3A1|240%3A1318
but IMO they don't feel secure, even with good quality glue I am scared they might pop off so for memory wire bracelets I just turn the edge over, I am not sure if they would be/feel more secure on the type of wire you are using. HTH and I haven' just added to your frustration
