Is odd-count peyote so hard?! I'm trying to follow a bead & button chart and just can't make it work! It increases, it decreases, it confuses me!

i know the feeling I've been trying to make a spiral bangle which uses odd count peyote i've tried about 4 times now and I just can't do it I've given up for the minute might try again at some point.
