pmc question

Hi,
I was wondering if pmc is like sterling silver and you cant put silver plated with it or it erodes it???????
If anyone could help then a great big thankyou

Hi. Thought PMC was sterling silver. personally I wouldnt mix sterling and plated. I tend to do one or the other. As to it eroding plate? havent got a clue,

PMC is pure silver, not sterling. As it's really soft, anything could erode it but I don't see why silver plate should be any worse than sterling. It does seem a shame to cheapen it though by using silver plate.
