      Hi
      There is a shop near us with an online catalogue called Itcydo (??!)
      www.itchydo.com
      They sell gemstone beads and silver. I have not used them but have heard good things about them (quality wise).
      Other than them I would try Kernow Craft - great service all round;
      www.kernowcraft.com
      Have used a fair few times, postage v fast!

        Theres only one semi precious bead supplier for me and thats beadsdirect.co.uk !
        Although they don't sell hole free beads, so you may have to go to a new age / hippyish shop for those, probably better that way u can choose them individually

                To get the best price on tumbles, you have to buy in bulk, ie. £40 bags. but the best ones about this year seem to be the south african mixes. Weve had some beatifull stones from there and the quality of polish is the best Ive ever seen.

                    £40 is what we pay for a 5 kilo bag (approx 300 stones, but that does vary depending on the size and density of the stone) but we have a wholesale account, we visit the warehouse in person to chose our own supplies, buy in bulk as we sell tumblestones, rocks and crystals and consequently get a really good discount - so much so that our retail prices are often lower than Manchester Minerals' wholesale prices. Can't help you with gemstone beads as I only buy what I need (or think I need) but we do have a lot of round donuts, small and medium size but many different choices of stone.

                    If you're interested in just a small quantity to start with we can probably sort something out for you. PM either Urbtaf or myself with the details of what you're looking for.

                    The only problem with ordering by post is that they can weigh a lot so it will cost to send via Royal Mail. If there is a rock/gemstone wholesaler anywhere near you it would probably be worth registering for a wholesale account and travelling to visit yourself.

                      I'd recommend ...

                      I'd also like to recommend Sunny Entreprises. I've done a lot of searching on Ebay and Google and Sunny almost always comes up with the best prices. He has a good range of stock and is really helpful. His new website also has a much better checkout system. Although he doesn't accept PayPal on his site, I still use it to make payments to his e-mail address.

                      Hope this helps!

                      PS I also find he is very honest in his descriptions; he uses a grading system for quality, and mentions if stones have been dyed or treated.

                          I'm sure these guys do the stones you are looking for. I don't know the price compares though.

                              I would recommend twinkle pieces and precious sparkle as well.
                              It may be worth checking to see if there is a 'gem n bead' or 'rock n gem' show near you. http://www.gemnbead.co.uk/events.asp (follow the link for the rock n gem) they usually have a great selection.
