    I LOVE tigertail!

Most of the jewellery I make is strung using tigertail. Got some different colours to, but mainly use silver/grey and black. Had lovely bluey silver stuff a while ago, but I've not been able to find any for ages.

depends on the type of catch. I mainly use calottes, and haven't had any complaints yet. Sits better in the ones that you thread through the fold as opposed to the ones that have the little cup. If you have a look at my site you'll see how it looks in some of the close up pics.

It kinks like mad! I've been using Beadalon since Fran educated me about it!

Isn't Beadalon way more expensive than tigertail?

I rarely have a problem with it kinking and find that running it through nylon jawed pliers removes any I do have.

            Thanks

Did I? It's Softflex that I swear by although Beadalon is a good/cheaper alternative.

I've never tried Tigertail but I've heard that it kinks easy, what do those who use it say?

My apologies Fran - a drawer full of Softflex, and I advertise Beadalon!

                    Beadalon & Tigertail

Tiger tail was created by a Company called Beadalon - but I think they did not reister the trademark and now many people make similar products - including some really poor stuff coming from China.

However, 'Beadalon' has improved over it's original Product. It comes in different colours, diameters and strands. (The more strands, the more flexible - and more expensive). Take a look at their website - some great info on the different types of Beading wire and some projects too! They alos make decent quality crimps that match the wire.
