How many gms make a silver chain?

I want to buy some silver chain ready for when I make some art clay pendants, but it is prices per gram and I don't have a lcue how much makes a chain!! Any ideas??

Thanks - I've just realised on their loose chain it tells you grams per meter too - I missed that first time!

I sometimes use chain by the inch when I want to make a special chain with Swarovskis or pearls at the catch and dangly bits but generally I don't think I have found it cheaper to make my own - are you finding it that much cheaper than buying ready made or are you making special chains ?
